Altenew March Release Blog Hop II + Giveaway

Hello everyone!

Welcome to the Altenew March Release Blog Hop number 2 for this month! This time Altenew releases new stamps and dies! You have seen them yesterday during Full reveal most probably! But today you will be amazed with all beauty of Design Team's along with the Guest designers' creations. I'm sure you will find your faves and it will help you to choose what new goodies you want to buy!

You probably came here from the blog of cardmaking guru Jennifer McGuire and I can't be more excited about it)

I used Hug Me stamp set for my  cards today. They come out absolutely different: black and white, bold and soft....like ying and yang) I love both and you?

Let's start with the black one. I wanted to make an interactive card so used an action wobbler for the fox. To fit the size of the wobbler I fuzzy cut the fox with scissors. For the background I used one of my faves - Snowing Stamp Set and heat embossed it with a white embossing powder. Unfortunately it doesn't seen on the photo but I covered "hug me" letters with Spectrum Noir sparkling pen.

For my second card I used vellum for both: colored image of the fox with balloons and the sentiment. I thought it would add "air" to the scene of flying in the sky fox. I took tiny clouds for masking and blended some Ocean Waves Crisp Dye Ink to create a sky. Then I used clear adhesive squares for the image and glue for the sentiment.

Neat & Tangled February 2017 Release

Hello guys!

This week my lovely Neat & Tangled released beautiful stamps, dies and sequins! Due to some family reasons I missed the release week but today I have two cards for you and yes I made them in Egypt during my unexpected vacation! Yay!
For the first card I used So Lucky stamp set and a bunny from the Cottontail Cuties stamp set. How cute is this little bunny looking from the sentiment that I covered with green stickles?

The second card is so clean and simple and for this one I used Eggstra Special stamp set. I made a gras and coloring with Tombow Dual Brush pens. I also added that final touch with white gel pen making little dots on my coloring.

I also want to pay your attention that starting today you can buy all new goodies in N&T shop and the most coolest die I've ever hold in my arms the Doily Envelope Die will be available there EXCLUSIVELY, so don't miss it!

Have a fruitful shopping!

Altenew January Release Blog Hop II + Giveaway

Hello dear friends!

I’m so glad to join Altenew January Release Blog Hop II! And first of all want to thank everyone for your kind comments to my card made for previous release! I appreciate each of them! Currently I’m on vacation in Egypt and two of three today’s cards I made here laying near the pool. I’ve never took stamps with me on vacation, but this time we have a very lazy one, so it’s a great way to spent time with double pleasure.

So let’s start with those two. The first one is made using newest Life is beautiful stamp set and new crisp dye ink colors. I’ve made ombre stamping using Cool greys and the main sentiment with Parrot green. Then I composed daisies all together at the bottom part of my card.

The second one using Halftone Circles stamp set is very easy yet very fun and colorful. I used different circle sizes as well as all new colors of inks from Green and Orange sets to stamp my background all around the sentiment.

And finally the third card, that I made at home using Recollections stamp set. I used grey cardstock and white embossing powder fro stamping a floral frame and then colored it with watercolor pencils along with Spectrum Noir Glitter Brush pens. I also used grey ink for the second layer on the same image but with a little displacement, so it gave a shadow look. I made the same thing with the sentiment and then with a couple under umbrella from the Dancing in the rain stamp set.

You can check all new stamps, dies and inks here. I love this release because it has a really unique designs and different themes.

Altenew A Year In Review Blog Hop -UPD-

Hello!

Year is coming to an end and we are all looking back to focus on the best moments of the year and... the most loved cards created with Altenew!

It is very hard to choose because each is created with love and special meaning, but here is my hard choice of 4!

The first card is with  Lotus stamp set
I begun with outline images and stamped them with Moon Rock Crisp Dye Ink, then I used solid layer stamps with Evening Gray Crisp Dye InkAfter that has started the most interesting part: coloring with watercolor pencils. You can go with any other pencils you have. Use lighter colors first, adding more shades with a darker ones step by step. I colored one of the lotuses in blue color using Caribbean Crisp Dye Ink and Arctic Crisp Dye Ink to pop-up on a grey background. For the card base I used Real Gray cardstock. Sentiment is made with Beautiful Quotes stamp set and Jet Black Crisp Dye Ink.

For the second card I used Altenew's Bejeweled stamp set and coordinating dies.
I embossed on vellum with white embossing powder and colored butterfly with Tombow Brush Pens set of 10 (Portrait ). This butterfly turned out like a wood one, so I decided to place her on a piece of real wood usingAltenew's Cherry Wood . The Card base is also wooden - Woodgrain white cardstock. Finally, for the sentiment I used the one from Best Mom stamp set and added some sequins. I made my butterfly slide over the wood up and down in a very simple way - I used a paper clip. One end is to hold and move and the other - to adhere the butterfly on it!
The third card is made with one of my favorite stamp sets Dancing In The Rain“.
I cut out a window from a black cardstock and stamped the window image from the stamp set on the inner part of my card. I used black embossing powder and little bit of yellow to highlight one of the windows.
Using clear embossing powder, I embossed the rain drops on the front panel. It looks so realistic on a Jet Black cardstock. I decided to use two sentiments from the set: one on the front and one inside the card.
And with the last card I want to say Thanks to everyone who inspired me, who was inspired by me, who shared their emotions and took a time to leave sweet comments, who was with me and gave needed support and thumb ups all the year long!
For the card base I took Pale Grey Cardstock. I chose  Floral Shadow stamp set that I love so much and started to stamp with Evening Grey Crisp Dye Ink, then went with Persian Blue Crisp Dye Ink and ended up with Saphire Crisp Dye Ink. Then I added a little butterfly from the Wild Hibiscus Stamp set with Saphire Crisp Dye Ink. The little stamped sentiment “we appreciate you” is from the same  Wild Hibiscus Stamp set.For the main focal point – big “Thanks” word I used our Thanks dieNavy cardstock and Silver tape. I adhered 4 stripes of Silver tape on a white cardstock close to each other as much as possible to create a piece of glitter cardstock and then die cut it. I also die cut three pieces in a navy blue color and ahered them all together. I adhered silver layer with a little displacement so I got this contrast shadow look.
